Facilitating the sharing of knowledge and information

We facilitate the sharing of knowledge and information within the ECD sector, including government departments, ECD non-profit organisations, ECD teachers, communities and donors, to meet the needs of young children and their families. We also respond to numerous requests for information and resources from teachers and ECD organisations working with young children (to find out more about our helpline, click here).

This knowledge sharing service contributes to the expansion of quality ECD programmes globally as we assist ECD stakeholders in the work that they do, by providing them with relevant up-to-date resources and materials.

Annual Reports

Our Annual Reports are available for download. The report reflects the programmes and activities of our organisation for another successful year in putting young children first.

Early Years

EARLY YEARS is our monthly publication, sent out February to November of each year, and includes information on early childhood development, NPO management, strategy, fundraising, business practise, training and other topics.

Teaching Treasures

Working with young children is hard work. Every day in South Africa, nearly 70,000 adults, mainly women, work with about 2 million children in Early Childhood Development centres. These are the heroes of our country.

Celebrating Women in Early Education

This collection of case studies showcases the stories of strong South African women who have overcome significant obstacles in caring for vulnerable children in their communities.

Donor Dialogue

We are regularly asked for information and guidance on ECD by the donor community, government officials and academics.  In response to these many requests, we publish a brief, easy-to-read publication to keep stakeholders informed.

Journal Articles & Research

Quality ECD programmes are a means of eradicating poverty and reducing inequality. It is essential that ECD stakeholders are properly informed.
